UPSC Civil Services Exam 2022: UPSC Prelims Exam on 5th June, see Application Method and Exam Pattern

UPSC Civil Services Exam 2022: Total 1011 vacancies

According to the notification issued by UPSC, the Prelims Exam of UPSC Civil Services will be held on 05 June 2022. Its applications started on 02 February. Along with CSE Prelims, there is also Indian Forest Service or IFS Prelims application form. Candidates who qualify for UPSC Prelims Exam will be called for Main Exam. A total of 1011 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment drive. These include 150 vacancies of Indian Railway Management Service (IRMS) Group A.

How to apply for UPSC Civil Services Exam

First, go to the official website of UPSC Scroll down to the home page and click on the Apply Online link. The application link of many recruitment exams will open on the screen. Choose the exam for which you want to apply here and register by filling in the required details. Upload the relevant documents later to fill up the application form. Submit and submit the application fee. Your form will be submitted. Candidates can download the confirmation page further and keep the printout with them.

UPSC Civil Services Exam Pattern

Prelims exam includes Paper-I and II. Objective Type and Multiple Choice Questions will be asked in the 400 mark examination. Paper-I questions science and technology, history and culture, geography, Indian politics, Indian economy, environment and ecology, and issues of national and international importance. A minimum of 33 percent marks is required to qualify in General Study Paper-II. You have to qualify with points. Note that one-third mark will be deducted for wrong answers as negative marking in the exam.
