On this auspicious day, wake up early and wear clean clothes after taking bath.
Light a lamp in the temple of your home.
After bathing the deities in the temple of the house, wear clean clothes.
Offer Tulsi leaves and flowers on the idol or picture of Lord Rama.
Offer fruits to God.
If you can fast, then also keep fast on this day.
Offer sattvik things to God as per your wish.
One must also do aarti of Lord Rama on this holy day.
You can also recite Ramcharitmanas, Ramayana, Shri Ram Stuti and Ram Raksha Stotra.
Chanting the name of God has great importance. You can also chant Shri Ram Jai Ram Jai Jai Ram or Siya Ram Jai Ram Jai Jai Ram. There is no specific rule in chanting Ram Naam, you can chant Ram Naam anytime anywhere
