Under this annuity, one gets a pension every month.
The issue was raised in the UP elections
The issue of the old pension scheme was raised during the UP election campaign. Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav had meanwhile made a big announcement. He had said that if a Samajwadi Party government is formed in Uttar Pradesh, then the old pension scheme will be restored. This will benefit millions of state government employees who have been agitating for this for a long time.
