NEET UG Result 2021 Date: NEET exam result date possible today, Supreme Court hearing on re-exam

The wait for the results of more than 16 lakh candidates who appeared in the NEET UG 2021 exam may end today, 28 October 2021. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has challenged in the Supreme Court
the order of the Bombay High Court staying the declaration of results
of the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) for undergraduate
courses. The High Court had suspended the declaration of results to
conduct the NEET exam again for the two affected candidates.

Solicitor
General Tushar Mehta mentioned the NTA’s appeal before a bench headed
by Chief Justice Justice NV Ramanna on Monday. The CJI was keen to refer
it to a bench hearing NEET cases, but on Mehta’s request, the CJI said
he would take a decision after going through the case file.

In the hearing held so far in the Supreme Court, the NTA had said that the NEET UG Result 2021 has been prepared and the results will be declared after the apex court’s decision. Such candidates should keep an eye on NEET exam portal and NTA result portal for NEET UG 2021 result.

The NTA, in its appeal petition filed in the Supreme Court, said that the NEET UG Result 2021 of more than 16 lakh candidates cannot be stopped for re-examination for just two candidates. The start of the academic session has already been delayed this year due to the pandemic.
