NEET 2O21 Postponed ? RTI Reply To Medical Student regarding date of examination
Recently the Ministry of Education has canceled the 12th Examination. After this NEET and JEE aspirants have been requesting the ministry to postpone these exams for now. But according to National Testing Agency(NTA) has decided that the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test(NEET)- Under Grduate(UG) will be held on August 1st as told before in Public Notice which was displayed on the NTA official website on 12 March 2021.
Also, there was an RTI query made by a Medical Student Vivek Pandey regarding the data of examination. NTA answered, “As per the public notice dated March 12, 2021, the NEET(UG) 2021 Examination stands to be conducted on August 1, 2021, as on date. If the exam would be required to be postponed due to unavoidable circumstances, the same would be on their website.”
Talking about the NEET application form which is not released yet because of this NEET aspirants are worried that when NTA will announce it. So in this case NTA also said that” in the process of consulting with concerned ministries for finalizing the date of launch the Online Application Form for NEET(UG) 2021.” It might take some time for it. The Notification about the form will be displayed on the official NEET(UG) website as soon as the date is confirmed by the ministry of education and organizations.
As we know after filling application form, the process takes almost 2 months to verify the details of students like seat numbers, deciding their allotted examination center, and many more things. Because it is not possible to do all these things in a short time. As told before the exam will be held on August 1st from the current day only 54 days are remaining. So it might be possible that the exam will be postponed but still, students must be prepared for every circumstance.
Also, various students are trying to postpone the exams until October. Delhi Government and Student Organization requested the center to vaccinate each student before the exam.
