The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2023 was successfully conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on May 7, 2023, from 2 PM to 5.20 PM. NEET is the largest medical entrance exam in India, and students across the country appeared for the exam in large numbers.
As per the latest reports, the NEET 2023 Answer Key will be released soon on the official website of NTA, neet.nta.nic.in. However, the NTA has not confirmed the exact date for the release of the answer key yet. Students are advised to keep checking the official website for updates regarding the release of the answer key.
The NEET 2023 Exam was held for a total of 720 marks and consisted of four subjects – physics, botany, chemistry, and mathematics. To clear the NEET 2023 Exam, students belonging to the general category have to secure 50 percent marks. Meanwhile, those belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories and SC/ST/OBC – PwD categories have to score a minimum of 40 percent marks. For candidates belonging to the General-PwD category, the cut off is 45 percent.
After the release of the NEET 2023 Answer Key, candidates can check their answers and calculate their estimated scores based on the marking scheme. The answer key will help candidates get an idea of their performance in the exam and also estimate their chances of securing admission in government medical colleges.
It is important to note that the NEET 2023 Cut off marks for government medical colleges will be higher than the previous years due to the increased competition. Students are advised to keep checking the official website of NTA for updates regarding the release of the answer key and the declaration of NEET 2023 Results.
