National Testing Agency (NTA) may release the update regarding NEET (UG) 2021 exam results today. According to various media reports, the NEET Result 2021 update is likely to be released by the agency by the evening of today, 28 October 2021. Let us inform you that the Supreme Court has given the freedom to declare the NEET UG Result 2021 to the NTA during the hearing of the petition related to tomorrow, 28 October 2021.
In the hearing of this petition, which lasted for two days, the NTA had informed the top court that the NEET result 2021 is ready to be declared and the announcement can be made after the order of the court in the matter. In such a situation, it is believed that for the candidates waiting for the NEET 2021 result, the update regarding the results can be issued today.
Where and how to check NEET Result 2021?
Candidates should note that the update regarding NEET UG Result 2021 will be released by NTA on the examination portal, neet.nta.nic.in. Also, updates regarding the declaration of results by the agency may also be released on the result portal, ntaresults.nic.in.
In such a situation, candidates should keep an eye on both the portals regarding the result. Second, after the declaration of NTA NEET Result 2021, candidates need to visit the official website and click on the link to be activated on the home page to view the result and download the scorecard.
How to check/download NEET Result 2021
- Visit the official website ntaresults.nic.in
- Click on the link that reads, “Score Card NEET(UG) 2021”
- Enter details as required
- Click on submit/login
- Your result will be displayed on the screen
- Download it, and take a printout for future reference
After this, on the new page, candidates will have to submit by filling in their application number, date of birth details, and security pin is given on the screen. After this, candidates will be able to see their result and scorecard on the screen, after taking a print of which candidates should also download its soft copy.
The bench agreed with the plea of the solicitor general and allowed the agency to declare the exam. “There shall be stay of the impugned order passed by the HC, until further orders,” it said. “We will decide what happens to the two students upon reopening. But we can’t hold the results of 16 lakh students,” it said. The two students had moved the HC alleging that their test booklets and OMR sheets got mixed up during the NEET exam. The HC had directed the NTA to conduct fresh examinations for them before the declaration of results.
